Access to UGC-INFONET Services
Trial access for SCOPUS (The largest Abstract and Citation Database
of research literature covering 14,200 titles from 4,000 publishers)
has been activated and will be available
22nd March 2006.

The INFLIBNET Centre, Ahmedabad is providing access to the
scholarly e-journals under UGC-Infonet E-Journals Consortium. As
part of the consortium, access to the Electronic databases /
Journals of the following publishers is also provided through
the campus-wide Intranet to the existing online-journals
available.

Following journals and databases are subscribed under UGC-Infonet
E-Journals consortium and are made available to
51 universities
selected including
our university.

All the users of the Intra-net will be able to access the new
content immediately.

to access UGC-Infonet services |

Access to UGC Infonet journals site is controlled by valid Internet
Protocol ("IP") address(es), which Licensee is responsible for
providing full text access. Only the IP address(es) submitted by the
Licensee will have access to the material. There is no limit on the
maximum number of IP addresses or workstations at an Authorized Site
under the License. Valid IP addresses may include proxy or cable
services or other mechanisms for providing remote dial-in access
only to Authorized Users of the Authorized Site.

Institutional Subscriber is solely responsible for any use through
Institutional Subscriber’s IP address to access Online Journals and
will take all care to ensure that there is no unauthorized use.
Unauthorized use through Institutional Subscriber’s IP address, with
or without Institutional Subscriber’s knowledge, is a violation of
this Agreement.

Licensee and Authorized Users may:

Browse, search, retrieve, and view Online Journals;

Make one hard copy of the output of any search; such copies may
not be sold and may not be distributed to anyone who is not a
subscriber;

Download search results of an individual articles, or discrete
items or portions of such articles,
to hard disk or diskette, provided that such data is used solely
for their personal use or research
and are not made available to anyone who is not a subscriber

Users are not permitted to
-
Engage in
systematic copying or downloading
of the Materials or
transmit any part of the Materials by any means to any
unauthorized user
-
Allow copies to be stored or accessed by an unauthorized user
-
Make the Materials available in any other form or medium or
create derivative works without the written permission of
Cambridge University Press
-
Generate collections of the Materials or use any part thereof in
multiple copies for group or class use without the written
permission of publisher.
