Supermicro Workstation with Tesla K40
A new Supermicro workstation with 2x Intel® Xeon® E5-2620v3 processors (6-Core, 2.4GHz, 15M Cache) have been added with our computational facility for massive simulations. This server is purchased by Dr. Dinakara Rao, Associate Professor of the Centre under his project. Sever is named as Super Tesla K40 which has 64GB of DDR4 Memory and 4TB of disk space. The special feature of the server is GPU card Tesla K40 is installed with latest Cuda library. From th e benchmark it proved that the server can complete 100ns simulation on gromacs in 24 hrs. Here is the specification of the server.
