Workstation / Desktop Computers
Centre is doing computation research in the emerging fields of Bioinformatics such as molecular dynamics, virtual screening and docking, drug discovery, protein purification and crystallization. Every individual of the Centre needs a workstation to perform computer aided research and discovery. So the Centre established common labs for research scholars and students and also separate research labs for every individual faculty member.
All the workstations are connected directly with Internet and Intranet services so as to perform better Computational researches. Around 160 workstations are being used in the Centre with different configurations. Details of workstations are given below.
